I'm currently using an RX 580 8GB graphics card paired with a Ryzen 5 2600X CPU and 32GB of RAM. I'm considering upgrading my GPU and am leaning towards NVIDIA this time to try out their technologies. I'm stuck between the RTX 3070 and the 3060 Ti. The prices in my country are about $200 for the 3060 Ti and $250-$300 for the 3070, which feels like a significant difference for just a 10% performance increase. My RX 580 peaks around 180W, while the 3060 Ti uses about 200W, and the 3070 about 220W. I believe my PSU should be okay since it's at least 500W or 600W, and the CPU should manage well with either GPU. I've also looked at the RX 6000 series but I've been using AMD for a while and want to switch it up. What do you think, should I go for the 3060 Ti or the 3070? Any extra advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, either one will do just fine. The price difference isn’t that justified for the 10-15% performance increase with the 3070. You might also want to explore the older 20 or even 10 series options. I’ve seen 2080 Tis going for as low as $160 and 1080 Tis around $100. Depending on availability and pricing, those could be tempting alternatives.
The 3060 Ti actually has the same 8GB as the 3070, but there seems to be some confusion about the memory. I’d recommend going for the 3060 Ti since it offers great performance at a lower price. The 3070 isn't worth it unless you need that extra bit of power.
