I've been using my ASUS STRIX-GTX1070-O8G since its release in 2016, and while it still works fine, it's starting to struggle with newer games. I'm thinking about upgrading, and I want to switch out my CPU, motherboard, and RAM at the same time.
I'm leaning towards the 5070, but I'm concerned about the 12 GB of VRAM that the 5070 TI offers for future-proofing. I prefer a long-lasting GPU like my 1070. I play at 1440p and the prices here in Italy are about €620 for the 5070 and around €880 (or €820 on sale) for the 5070 TI. I'm planning to upgrade to a CPU like the 9600x and potentially go for something more powerful in the future. What do you all suggest?

If you can swing it, I recommend the 5070 TI. The extra VRAM will be helpful in the long run.
If you have the budget, opt for the full upgrade and don't just upgrade the GPU. You'll be happier in the long run!
Consider pairing either card with a 9700x or 9800x3d; both are solid options, though note that the second combo is quite a bit pricier!

Neither if you don’t absolutely need Nvidia's features. Honestly, consider going for a different combo like a 9800X3X/9060 XT, as GPUs are easier to upgrade than CPUs in the long run.

5070FE is available for $549 over here but since you're in Italy, I know that doesn't help much! You can always return it if it doesn't meet your needs.
