I'm currently taking a digital forensics course and I've been using VMware on Windows to run Kali Linux. Now that I've switched to Linux Mint, I'm wondering if I should just install the Kali packages directly on Mint or if it's better to set up a virtual machine. Also, I'd like to play League of Legends, but I've heard it doesn't work well on Linux. Is using Tiny10 for a dual boot my best bet, or is there a better option for just that game? Thanks for your help!

Kali is great to run from a USB, way less hassle. Just boot from it whenever you need it. Plus, there’s not much setup needed.
You could do both! Installing all the necessary Kali tools on Mint can get complicated, and you might run into errors if anything is missing. A VM makes it much simpler to troubleshoot if you encounter any issues.
If you're looking for a simple solution, consider just running Kali from a USB drive. Most Kali uses don’t require permanent installation.
Definitely go with a virtual machine! It's the easiest and most recommended way to run Kali without messing up your Mint setup.
I’d recommend going with a Kali VM as well; it’s just more straightforward.
