Hey everyone! I'm currently using an older setup with an i7-8700, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 4060. It can still run games decently but is maxing out the CPU and GPU. I'm considering an upgrade to a Ryzen setup but I'm hesitant because DDR5 prices and the cost of a new motherboard and cooler are quite high. Should I just wait for the AM6 release? I'm uncertain about what to do here.

I've heard that AM6 might not drop until around 2029 or even later. Zen 6 is projected for late 2026 or early 2027, but that will still use AM5. So, you might be waiting a while for AM6.
