Should I Wait to Build My PC for the RTX 5070 Super?

I'm planning to build a PC in October and I'm considering using an RTX 5070. However, I'm frustrated by the 12GB of VRAM it offers. I've heard leaks about the RTX 5070 Super coming out in about 6-7 months, which has 18GB of VRAM and sounds perfect for my needs. Do you think it's better to go ahead and build my PC with an 8600G for now, or should I wait for a few months to avoid worrying about VRAM later?

If you have the funds ready to build, just go for it! Unless you're gaming at 1440p and pushing everything to the max (including path tracing without using DLSS), you probably won’t hit the 12GB cap frequently. Also, instead of the 8600G, I’d recommend looking at the 7600(X) or 9600X for better performance.

That’s true! I just feel like 12GB might not last long enough. It seems like 8GB VRAM is already a limit for 1080p gaming.
