I accidentally spilled 70% ethyl alcohol on my phone because the cap of the bottle loosened up and created a puddle. At first, I didn't notice, and after drying it off, it seemed fine. However, about 30 minutes later, I saw green lines on the screen, and now it won't turn on at all. Am I overreacting, or is my phone completely dead? I just got it and I'm really worried about what my parents will say if they find out I broke it already!

First things first, you should keep your phone off. Electronics don't like to be powered on when they're wet. This could lead to more damage!
I’m not sure how to turn it off, though! It's making weird beeping noises and the flashlight is turning on and off. I tried to follow some tutorials, but it’s still acting up!
