I have a Dell G5 15 5500 gaming laptop that I've been using since 2020, and I've recently started hearing a weird buzzing and grinding noise coming from the right side of the laptop. This noise is accompanied by noticeable vibrations and tends to happen in short bursts lasting around 30 seconds to a minute. Interestingly, it mostly occurs when I launch or play games. I thought it might be dust stuck in the fans, so I tried to open the back to clean it, but I could only remove one screw; the others wouldn't budge and might have bad threading. I can see a lot of dust around the cooling fans through the bottom grate, but I don't understand why the noise is so localized to the right side. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? Also, I'll post a video on my profile for reference if needed.

It sounds like you might be dealing with issues related to either your fan or hard drive. The buzzing and grinding noises are often telltale signs of these components acting up. If it’s the fan, it could be dirty or failing, which might explain the vibrations. As for the hard drive, if it's an older HDD, it could be experiencing problems as well. Definitely something to keep an eye on!
Do you think I should address this right away, or is it okay to keep using it without worrying about a sudden breakdown while gaming?
