Hey folks! I'm really frustrated because I can't seem to change my NAT type no matter what I do. I've tried a ton of things already, including enabling UPnP in both my modem and signal repeater settings, port forwarding for specific games like GTA V, turning on DMZ, and even reaching out to my ISP, who assured me their side is set to NAT open. I also got a new modem from them, and I've tinkered with my Windows Defender Firewall, including turning it off completely. But despite all these efforts, my NAT type is still showing as Symmetric. Here's a screenshot for reference: [NAT Type Image](https://imgur.com/a/NLBE7ld). I'm exhausted and out of options. Can anyone offer some advice?

Just a heads up about your ISP—they might not always know what they're talking about when it comes to NAT issues. I recommend checking your WAN IP on your router settings against what you see on a site like whatismyip. If they don't match, could indicate that your setup has some issues. That might be where the problem lies.
Hey there! If you're struggling with port forwarding, you might want to check out a detailed guide online. Sometimes the steps can be a bit tricky, and missing a small detail could be the culprit. Just remember, it's all about ensuring your router settings are correctly configured!

You're spot on! I noticed my WAN IP is different from what shows up on whatismyip. So, what implications does that have for me? By the way, I'm using a TP Link Archer C6 in AP mode; could that be a factor?
