I'm really having trouble getting my PS3 controller to connect to my laptop for playing some PS3 games on RPCS3. I've tried a few different things: first ScpToolkit, then dsHidmini, and even the official Sony drivers. The controller shows up as registered in both the settings and the control panel, and I can use it to navigate in those apps, but it doesn't seem to work within RPCS3. Can anyone help me figure this out? I'd really appreciate any solutions!

Maybe it's worth checking if Windows Defender or any other antivirus is blocking the files you need? Sometimes those programs will quarantine important files and cause issues. Also, have you set your file explorer to show file extensions?
I had the same issue, but I got it to work well with the steps provided in the DsHidMini installation guide. Just make sure you follow all the instructions carefully. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out again.
I did tick the unblock option before extracting the zip, but I'm still not seeing the files mentioned in the guide.
