Struggling to Install a New SSD in My PC

I just bought a 1TB WD Blue SSD to upgrade my storage, but I'm having a tough time installing it in my four-year-old Skytech Shadow 3.0 PC. I can't figure out how to reach the cables needed to connect it to the motherboard, and I don't see any screws that would allow me to access the bottom. Any suggestions on how to get this SSD installed?

What type of SSD did you get? It's important to make sure there's an open slot for it. If you haven’t already, check under the PSU cover to see if you can access the cables. You’ll need a power cable from the PSU to your new SSD, and that might involve removing the PSU to route the cable. Don’t forget you’ll also need a SATA cable to connect it to the motherboard!

I got a WD Blue, and I do have an open slot. It's just hard to reach the cables.

Yeah, it seems like accessing that PSU cover is tricky! If you can’t get to it, maybe try removing the PSU altogether. It sounds like a bit of a hassle, but you'll probably need to run a power cable from it to your new SSD. Just take your time and maybe watch a video on your specific model for visual guidance.
