Struggling to Switch from Windows to Linux: Alternatives Needed!

I've been wanting to make the switch to Linux for a while now, but there are a few apps I just can't seem to replace, which always sends me back to Windows. I'm looking for good alternatives to some specific software I use regularly.
- For video and photo editing, I love using Photoshop and Premiere as a hobby. I would appreciate any recommendations for Linux alternatives, and I'm particularly interested in solving my issues with getting Davinci Resolve to detect my graphics card properly on Arch Linux.
- I'm also a big fan of using Parsec to play games with my friends, but I can't host on Linux. I'm hoping for alternatives to Sunshine and Moonlight that allow more versatility for streaming games outside of Steam.
- With OBS, I've faced issues on Wayland where custom panels don't work well, leading to laggy streams. Any suggestions for a smooth experience or fixes?
If anyone can offer advice or alternatives, I would be very thankful!

As for Davinci Resolve, I found it works on Fedora with GPU support by following some tweaks in installation. You might want to check out some detailed YouTube tutorials on the installation process; it's been a lifesaver for me!

I usually prefer Arch for its customization, but if it comes down to it, I guess I can give Fedora a shot as a last resort. Thanks for the tip!

For OBS, it seems like the Arch Linux version has some dependency issues. Have you tried the Flatpak version? It might resolve some of your custom panel issues.

You could look into using Krita for tasks you'd usually do in Photoshop. It’s actually great for light photo manipulations. Also, have you ever thought about just running a Windows VM for other apps? That could simplify things for everything you can’t do on Linux!

I've used Moonlight to stream my desktop before, but it doesn’t quite cut it for group gaming with friends. What do you think about needing an extra GPU for that VM setup?
