I recently purchased an Insignia Bluetooth 5.0 adapter, but it messed up my Bluetooth software, especially the 'forget device' function. After reinstalling Windows 11, things were fine for a while until the same issue popped up but in a different way. Now, when I try to forget my DualSense Edge controller, it seems to forget it too quickly—as if the command isn't fully registering. When I toggle Bluetooth off and on or restart my computer, the controller reappears on my devices list as if the forget command didn't work at all. Reinstalling Windows again didn't solve the problem, and uninstalling Bluetooth drivers and rebooting didn't help either. I'm really frustrated with Windows 11, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, I’m actually impressed you’ve gone through two reinstalls! It really sounds like the issue might stem from that Insignia Bluetooth adapter, especially since everything went downhill after you installed it. Have you considered trying a different adapter to see if the problem persists?

Thanks for the support! I ended up tossing the adapter after the first reinstall. I don’t think the old drivers should be an issue anymore. I’m holding off on a Windows reset unless it's absolutely necessary.
