Hey everyone, I'm having a really tough issue with my custom-built PC. Recently, I've been running into BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) errors whenever I play games that use anti-cheat software. A few months back, everything was working fine, but now it's like my PC just can't handle any of these programs. I'd love to hear any suggestions or solutions you might have! Thanks in advance!

Anti-cheat programs can be finicky sometimes. I’d recommend completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the anti-cheat software. Make sure to get a clean copy from the game folder. It could also be beneficial to check if there are specific network ports that need to be opened for the games you're playing.
This might sound extreme, but have you considered a full OS reinstall? If all anti-cheat software leads to this issue, it might point to something deeper in your OS that's not cooperating.
I actually went that route already—did a complete wipe with diskpart, used MSI secure erase, and reinstalled Windows, but the problem still persists.
First off, are you sure anti-cheat is the culprit? If you let us know which games you're trying to play, that could help narrow things down. Just curious if you checked any other factors too!
I'm getting BSODs with games like F1 24, R6, and Valorant. The BSOD mentions the anti-cheat right next to the QR code, so I’m pretty certain that's the issue.
Your antivirus might not be playing nice with the anti-cheat programs. What antivirus are you using? Sometimes even the basic ones can interfere.
I’m just using Windows Defender, nothing fancy. I haven’t installed any additional antivirus software.
Have you tried running the anti-cheat app as an admin? Sometimes that helps with these issues. Just a thought!
Yeah, I’ve already tried running it as an admin and made sure it’s allowed through the firewall.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times without any luck.
