Struggling with Coding and AI—Looking for Help!

I'm a dad, landlord, and husband to my physically challenged wife, juggling a full-time job while trying to develop something cool. I'm having trouble with Claude Desktop—it's just going in circles! No matter what I try, fixing one thing seems to break two others. I understand that AI is just a helpful tool, and ideally, I should learn to code and use an IDE with AI assist like Cursor or Roo. But the reality is, I can't dedicate that time right now. I need to get a prototype ready for a communication tool, and I know there's demand for it. I have a small list of potential customers and distributors, but the people I trust aren't skilled enough, and I'm hesitant to share my idea without getting an NDA involved. Any suggestions on who I could trust to help me with this?

If you're short on time to learn to code, try "vibe coding"! Talk to AI and give it as many details as possible about what you want. Ask it to break down tasks, suggest an architecture, and create a roadmap for your project. It can help guide you step by step, and remember, don't hesitate to ask it questions as you go along!

I faced a similar issue when building a game for my kid. I used Claude and it sometimes hit roadblocks, but I found that using multiple AI models helped solve my problems more effectively. Don't hesitate to mix and match AI tools to get closer to what you need.

Building software is no small feat. Seriously, you might need to consider hiring someone to help you out with this. Find a technical co-founder to share the load or look for someone with the skills to bring your idea to life. And about that NDA? It's good protection, but you need to make sure a lawyer checks it out. Trust is important, but don't let fear hold you back from moving your project forward!

You’re right! An NDA is helpful but remember, it only works if you can prove someone broke the agreement. Having a good lawyer involved is key, otherwise, it's a bit of a gamble.

Definitely make use of the Claude.md document! Start by laying out your project guidelines and let Claude help break that into phases. Treat the AI as a junior dev that needs direction. Outline what you want clearly, and it'll help you maintain control instead of getting sidetracked with new ideas!
