Hey everyone, I really need some help. After updating my BIOS and resetting the battery, I installed my new CPU, the R7 5800XT, to replace my old R5 5500. Everything powered on—the fans were spinning and the RGB lights were working—but the motherboard's red CPU error light came on. I switched back to my old CPU, but I'm still getting that red light. I'm not sure what went wrong. Has anyone experienced this before? Do I need to replace something, or am I missing a step?

Have you double-checked the cooler connections? Sometimes, if the motherboard doesn't detect the cooler properly, it won't boot up. That could be causing that CPU error light to come on.

Yeah, I made sure it's all plugged in tight. I even tried switching out coolers, but I'm still getting that CPU error light. Do you think my motherboard could be damaged?
