I just built a new PC yesterday, and I'm facing some major connectivity issues. The WiFi is extremely slow—it's so bad that I can barely open the driver website in Edge. Oddly enough, downloads from the Microsoft Store seem to work fine. I tried downloading drivers using Opera GX, which I got from the Store, but the problem persists. I can't even download Chrome; it either won't open the setup or fails to unpack the files. I'm starting to feel really hopeless here.

Did you make sure to attach the WiFi antennas? Sometimes, it's just two screw threads if they're not connected properly. That can really affect your connection.
Are you sure the antennas are connected to the motherboard? Sometimes it's easy to overlook that step, which can lead to weak signals.
Yes, I checked, and the antennas are connected.
Can you share your PC specs? Also, have you tested your WiFi on your phone from the same spot to see if it works better there?
Here are my specs: MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi 6E, Ryzen 9600X, RX 9070 XT, 32GB 6000MT CL30 Kingston RAM, 1TB SSD WD Black 7100, 850W MSI A850 GS, and Arctic Freezer 36.

Yeah, I have the antenna connected.
