I accidentally entered a wrong command in the terminal while trying to fix a brightness issue on my ASUS laptop running Zorin OS, and now it's stuck mid-reboot. I'm a beginner, and I'm really unsure how to fix it. I somehow managed to get it to start again, but the brightness still isn't working properly; it's stuck at 100% or 0%, and neither the default slider nor the function keys seem to work. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

What command did you run? Sometimes knowing the exact command can help pinpoint the problem and find a fix. Did you watch any tutorials? If you're not sure about the command, it might be better to retrace your steps. Hang in there!

I mainly followed a tutorial I found on YouTube. I actually made another post explaining what happened. After a forced shutdown, my laptop ended up just stuck showing the logo, which is super frustrating. It's definitely a learning curve for me!
