Stuck with a Locked Corporate Laptop—Need Help!

I recently got a corporate laptop from my brother, which was originally given to him by his boss's brother. The laptop was having issues with Google Drive, which he needed for work, and after some digging, I found out that the security software, SentinelOne, was causing the problem. I disabled it to try and fix the issue, but now I can't log in at all because it stores usernames and passwords. I don't have the local admin's password and the laptop has Bitdefender installed. I tried booting from a USB to recover data and reinstall, but it won't boot. I'm completely stuck! I've also tried going into safe mode and using the startup repair option, but it asks for a recovery key. What should I do next?

From what you've described, it looks like the security software has tightly bound access to that device. Unfortunately, if you’ve lost access to the admin account, your hands are pretty much tied. The best move now is to try contacting your brother's workplace IT department for help; they might be able to reset your access or help you recover your data safely.

I thought disabling SentinelOne would fix my access issue, but now I can't log in at all! All my saved passwords are failing.

It sounds like you're really locked out. With Bitdefender and SentinelOne, it seems like you're dealing with some serious corporate security measures. Unless you can get the admin password, you might just have to access Google Drive from another computer that isn't locked down. Just keep in mind that corporate laptops can be tricky to navigate with all those security features.

Is there any way I can enable SentinelOne again to get back access?
