Also, Vercel and Netlify might be worth considering. They’re mainly for front-end, but you can run light backends or serverless functions for free. Just be cautious of their usage limits!
Are you using a serverless option like AWS Lambda? Because you shouldn't run into cold start issues with a regular always-on backend. If you're looking for alternatives to Render, check out Railway! They've got a straightforward setup and offer decent free credits each month, which helps reduce those annoying cold starts.
