Thinking About Upgrading My Gaming PC – Any Suggestions?

I've been using my current gaming setup for a few years now, and I'm looking to enhance my experience. Here's my current hardware: an Intel i5 13600K CPU, an RTX 3060 Ti GPU, and a B760 DDR4 motherboard with 4x 3600 C18 DDR4 RAM. While I'm still hitting around 100 FPS in my main game, Arc Raiders, I feel like it's time for an upgrade. Should I consider switching to DDR5, getting a new GPU, or upgrading the motherboard? I want to keep my total expenses under £1000. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, just focus on upgrading the graphics card for now. If you're planning on getting either an NVIDIA 5070 or an AMD 9070, you should see a big jump in performance. I upgraded a month ago from an RTX 3080 to an RTX 5070 Ti, and it's been fantastic. Definitely worth the investment! Good luck with your hunt!

I think upgrading the GPU would give you the most noticeable improvement. Since you’re using a 1440p monitor, a 5070 Ti should be a nice boost. Your PSU is solid, but check if it's indeed the Corsair 850W Gold; if that's the case, you're good for most upgrades!

Your CPU is actually still pretty good! If you're looking for an upgrade, the GPU is the best place to start. The RTX 5070 Ti or the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT would make solid choices if your PSU can handle them. Since you’re gaming at 1440p, these cards will significantly enhance your experience. Also, depending on your power supply, you might consider upgrading that too to stay within your budget.
