Thinking About Upgrading My PC – Need Some Advice

I'm looking to upgrade my PC since I'm experiencing some frustrating FPS drops in games, especially in R6 Siege after the latest update. Currently, I'm using a Ryzen 5 5600X with an RX 5700. I managed to snag a deal on some GSKILL 48GB DDR5 8400MHz RAM for 90€. Now I'm considering upgrading my CPU and GPU. I've been looking at the Ryzen 7 9700X and the RX 9060XT since I'm gaming at 1080p on a 280Hz monitor. What do you all recommend? I also found a good offer for a RX 9070XT for 600€, while the 9060XT 16GB is going for 385€. After these upgrades, I plan to hold off on any more for at least 4-5 years.

For your 1080p setup, the RX 9060XT 16GB should do the trick even without upgrading to the 9700X. But if you're thinking of moving to 2K resolution later, the RX 9070XT would be the better choice. It's all about future-proofing your system!

Yeah, I'm also planning to get a 2K monitor down the line, but it won't be soon, so I’m stuck in 1080p for now.

And seriously, how did you score that 48GB RAM for just 90€? That's a steal!
