Hey everyone! I'm considering making the switch from Windows to Linux, but I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. Zorin seems really appealing to me, but I've also been looking at Pop!_OS, Fedora, and Cachy. I primarily use my PC for gaming and music production with Ableton, so I want to make sure I pick a distribution that's user-friendly for someone like me. I plan to install it on a separate SSD just in case. Here are my specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600, Graphics: Rx 6600, RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix, Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M-A II, and Audio Card: Steinberg UR22C. Any advice on which distro might be best for my use case? Thanks a lot!

Zorin 18 is a solid choice for beginners, much like Linux Mint. You can download both .iso files and use Ventoy to create a bootable flash drive to test them out in live sessions. This way, you can see which one suits your needs better for music production and gaming.
It's often better to start with a distro designed for users migrating from Windows, as they tend to have a more familiar desktop experience. Zorin and Linux Mint fall into that category, which can really help ease the transition. Fedora could be a bit tricky since it updates quickly and may introduce instability, which is not ideal if you want a reliable system right off the bat.
Thanks! I'm definitely leaning towards Zorin then.

Do both work well for music production too? I know many distros support gaming now, but I'm a bit worried about the music side.
