Hey folks! My brother is about to put together a new PC, and we've got a build in mind that I'm looking for feedback on. I'm curious whether this setup seems solid overall, and whether it's worth considering the 5060 or 5060 Ti as cheaper alternatives instead of the 5070. Here's what we've got so far:

- **CPU:** Intel Core i5-14600K 3.5 GHz 14-Core Processor
- **Cooler:** ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte Z790 EAGLE AX ATX LGA1700
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36
- **Storage:** Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 NVME SSD
- **Video Card:** Asus PRIME OC GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB
- **Case:** NZXT H5 Flow (2024) ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular

Just a heads up, the Crucial P3 Plus you picked uses QLC flash, which has a lower TBW rating and might slow down after a few years. I’d recommend going for a drive with TLC flash instead, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus or TeamGroup MP44. It'll give you better longevity and speed down the line.

The 5070 is definitely a stronger GPU than the 5060 Ti, so if gaming performance is a priority for your brother, it's the better choice. It outperforms the 5060 Ti, so I'd stick with the original plan if you're not too concerned about the budget.

True, but some folks have mixed feelings about the 5060 and 5060 Ti. It also depends on what his main use will be—if he’s gaming at 1080p, he might not need the 5070.
