Thoughts on My Black Non-RGB Build?

I'm working on a non-RGB black build with a budget of €2000 and I'd love your feedback on my parts list here: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/cW9GRV. Should I switch to a B850 motherboard? If so, which one? Also, is 850W sufficient for my PSU, or should I just stick with 1000W? And how does the AIO perform? Should I consider a different one or go for an air cooler instead? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

- For the PSU, 1000W is way too much for your current setup. You'll be fine with 650W, and if you go for 750W, you’ll be good even with some minor overclocking. An 850W gives you plenty of headroom for future upgrades.

- About the case, it’s all personal preference, but just make sure all your parts fit well together.

- Your GPU seems fine, and your SSD and memory are probably good too—just double-check compatibility.

- You don't need a B850 motherboard; it's not worth it. The MSI Pro B650-S WiFi could be a more budget-friendly option with better features.

- The CPU cooler is solid, just ensure it fits in your case. You could also consider saving a bit here to possibly upgrade to a 9800X3D if you find savings elsewhere.

- Though look out for GPUs, as upgrading might push your budget limits unless you’re considering options like a different brand like the 9070XT.

Thanks for the detailed opinion! Perfect then I will go with an 850W PSU. Should I get the MSI PSU from my list but the 850W version? Also, a higher-tier GPU is out of my budget unless you mean brands like the 9070XT, as I can find the Hellhound, Sapphire Pulse, and Gigabyte OC for about the same price.

Glad to hear it! The MSI PSU is a good choice if you feel comfortable with it; just make sure the reviews are fine. And those GPU options sound reasonable too.

- The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 is a solid choice for cooling, even with the 7800X3D you have.

- Your motherboard is fine, but if you're open to alternatives, you might look into the Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX.

- An 850W PSU will definitely cover your needs without any issues.

Thanks I will consider this!

What resolution are you planning to use? If it’s not for 1080p gaming, you might get away with using a 7600X3D without losing performance and put some extra cash toward a better GPU instead.
