Thoughts on My First Gaming PC Build?

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to finally build my very first gaming PC! I've put in a lot of research over the last few months and have settled on this parts list: [link]. Since I'm located in India, please keep in mind that prices can vary significantly. My budget is about ₹85,000 (roughly $935 today), not including the monitor or peripherals.

I mainly play competitive FPS games like Valorant, along with story-driven single-player games on a 2K 200 Hz IPS monitor. I own a PS5 for any exclusives or AAA titles, but I want to take advantage of my PC since PC games often go on sale more frequently and at better prices than on PS Store. I also believe my graphics card will perform better than my console.

Please share your thoughts on my build and any suggestions you might have!

P.S. I might consider overclocking or undervolting the CPU/GPU/RAM for better performance without compromising temperature control or stability.

Your build looks solid overall! Just a couple of points: the stock cooler for the 5600 is usually fine unless you plan to overclock or want a nicer aesthetic with a tower cooler. Also, consider getting a matched kit of RAM instead of two individual sticks; it helps ensure dual-channel compatibility. Just double-check that the parts you want are available in India!

I really appreciate your feedback! I’ve heard that the stock cooler is okay, but I’d feel better with something that keeps temps down. As for the RAM, I didn't realize mixing individual sticks could be an issue; finding a budget-friendly 2x8GB kit is definitely tricky.

I think you might want to consider adding more storage. 500GB can fill up pretty fast, especially with big updates like COD. It's definitely manageable, but a little extra space would benefit you. Prices are a nightmare, though!

Haha, so true! 500GB barely covers a big game update! I'm used to managing with that, but I’d love some more breathing room. Sadly, even a 1TB drive is way out of my budget.
