Thoughts on My First PC Build for Gaming and School?

Hey there! I'm about to make my first ever PC build and I'm looking for some feedback on the parts I've chosen before I buy everything. This PC will primarily be used for gaming and some CS homework. I'm aiming for at least 60fps on high settings for most games, and ideally over 120fps for Valorant.

The games I'll be playing include Valorant, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, RDR2, Elden Ring, Genshin Impact, Minecraft, The Sims 4, and Hogwarts Legacy.

I'm reusing a 1TB HDD, plus I have a keyboard and mousemat, but I need to replace my old mouse, headset, and monitor since they're all broken. My previous prebuilt PC is quite outdated and has a lot of proprietary parts that I can't reuse.

I'm based in Sweden and my budget is 18500SEK. I'd like to find everything locally and avoid Amazon if possible. Some prices in my list are manually inputted because I found better deals elsewhere including tax and shipping.

Aesthetics don't matter to me at all; I'm indifferent about RGB lighting.

I've chosen the AM4 platform because DDR4 RAM is cheaper, but I'm open to suggestions for DDR5 if there's a way to fit it in my budget with similar performance.

I have a few must-haves: a 2TB SSD, an 80+ gold modular PSU, 32GB of RAM, and a motherboard with Wi-Fi.

Is there anything I might have overlooked, like cables or thermal paste? I assumed the cooler would come with thermal paste, but if I should look at other brands like Noctua, let me know! Thanks!

If you could stretch your budget a bit, you could build a nice 1440p system. Here's a link to a potential build: [link]. Make sure to adjust the prices to your local merchants for the best deals!

I would definitely go for a 1440p monitor and a PC that can manage it if I could increase my budget, but I'm really sticking to my limit this time. I'd love to upgrade to an AM5 setup and a 1440p screen one day!

Have you considered going for a 1440p monitor? With the specs you've got, it should handle that resolution just fine!

If you're already going with AM4, I’d recommend checking the used market for similar builds. You might find some good deals that can help save you money. Just make sure you get a good condition PC if you go that route!

I'm not really comfortable evaluating used PCs myself. Plus, the retailers I trust for refurbished units don’t have any gaming setups available at the moment.
