I'm looking to get some feedback on my current gaming build aimed at achieving high FPS at both 1080p and 2K resolutions. Here's what I've got:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7500F
- GPU: GIGABYTE RTX 5070 WINDFORCE OC SFF 12GB GDDR7
- Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI AMD AM5 B650 DDR5
- Cooler: THERMALRIGHT Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- RAM: Viper VENOM Dual Channel DDR5 32GB (16*2) 6000 RGB CL 30
- Case: Corsair 3000D AIRFLOW RGB Tempered Glass Mid Tower
- Power Supply: Corsair RM650e 80 PLUS Gold 650W
- Storage: WD Blue SN5000 NVMe SSD 1TB
I'm also deciding on a monitor: either the Xiaomi G27Qi 2k IPS 180Hz 1ms or the TCL 25G64 QD-Mini LED IPS FHD 24.5 300Hz 1ms. Any recommendations or suggestions would be great, but please keep it within a reasonable budget! My total budget is around $1900, and this build costs about $1868.28 with the 2K screen. Also, thanks to u/Living-Minute4116 for the GPU update!

Quick note: '2k' typically refers to 2048x1080, while 2560x1440 is actually 1440p. Your build appears well-balanced, but the RTX 5060 Ti is less cost-effective than some alternatives like the 9060 XT 16GB, which might be better priced depending on your local area. Also, your SSD is a bit on the small side; consider how quickly it might get filled with modern game sizes.

In my area, the 9060 XT is $1000 while the RTX 5070 is around $850. Plus, I have an additional 2TB SSD to use from my laptop.

Overall, your build looks solid! I think you'll have a great time gaming at both resolutions. Just make sure your SSD has enough space for your games since 1TB can fill up quickly these days. Have fun!

Thanks, I’m planning to add a 2TB NVMe from my laptop for extra space!
