Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC soon and would love your input on my chosen parts. I'm hoping to finalize everything in the next week, but I want to make sure I'm not making any mistakes. Here's what I plan to get:
- **CPU:** 9800X3D
- **GPU:** 4090 iChill (used, but in good condition)
- **Motherboard:** ASRock X870 Steel Legend Wifi
- **RAM:** 64 GB (32 x 2) at 6400 MHz
- **SSD:** Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB
- **PSU:** Superflower 1300W
- **AIO Cooler:** Frozen Warframe 360 WHITE
For context, my current setup includes an Intel Core i5-8600K, an Nvidia ROG Strix 2080 GPU, and others. Any feedback on my planned upgrade would be greatly appreciated!

You might be spending a bit too much on those parts, but if money isn't a concern, everything looks solid to me!
Honestly, this feels a bit excessive. With AMD, you really shouldn't go beyond DDR5 6000 for RAM; going faster can mess with the infinity fabric. Plus, that 1.3KW PSU is overkill. You could save some money and energy with a 1KW or even an 850W PSU. The 4090 might spike occasionally, but 1000W should cover it just fine.
I appreciate all the info! I was given those parts based on my budget, but I’ll definitely check into the RAM speeds and consider a smaller PSU based on your advice.
