I bought a gaming laptop a year ago, and it was quite an investment! Now that it's been a year, my laptop is overheating even after I changed the thermal paste. I'm looking to get into a proper gaming desktop instead. Here's the build I'm considering: ASRock 870e Nova Wifi, AMD 9800X3D, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB, KINGSTON FURY Beast RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000MHz, CL30, Gainward RTX 5090 Phantom, SAMSUNG 990 PRO 2TB SSD, ARCTIC P14 PWM PST A-RGB 0dB, THERMALRIGHT TL-C12RB-S V2, PWM, ASUS TUF Gaming 1200W Gold, and an Antec C8 White case. I would love to hear your opinions—should I tweak anything or add anything before I pull the trigger?

I would suggest dropping the ASRock motherboard. I’ve heard mixed reviews about them, with some people claiming they can lead to CPU issues. Also, keep in mind that the case comes with fans, so you might not need to purchase additional ones—unless you're going for specific aesthetics or performance, of course! If the budget isn’t a concern, go for more reliable brands.
Yeah, I'd agree with that. You could consider an MSI Mag X870, an Asus Rog Strix 870e, or perhaps a Gigabyte X870E AORUS MASTER instead. They generally have solid reputations, and it might give you peace of mind about reliability!
