Thoughts on the Name ‘Velka’ for My Go-Based Blog Engine?

Hey everyone! I'm developing a lightweight and high-performance blog system using Go, designed with a skeuomorphic, old-school web aesthetic in mind—think textured backgrounds and embossed buttons for a retro vibe. I'm considering naming it 'Velka', which means 'great' or 'grand' in various Slavic languages. I think it's a fun contrast to the project's lightweight nature. I'd love your feedback on a few points:

- Is 'Velka' easy to remember and pronounce?
- Does it fit the retro theme I'm going for?
- Are there any existing naming conflicts in the Go or self-hosted ecosystem that I should be aware of?

Feel free to share your thoughts, or if you have other name ideas, I'm all ears!

I think 'Velka' is a solid choice! It's short, memorable, and has a bit of a techy feel without being over the top. Just make sure to grab the domain before someone else does!

To be honest, I love that name! It's catchy and easy to say, which is great for user recall. Just check if there's already a similar project with that name—could save you some headaches down the line.

While I get the retro vibe from 'Velka', keep in mind in Finnish it means 'debt'. Not sure if that might work against you, but it’s something to think about!

Thanks for the heads up! I guess I should consider how that might be perceived by a broader audience.
