Hey everyone! I'm putting together a new PC for my girlfriend and I want to make sure my build is solid. It's been a while since I last assembled a machine, so I'd appreciate your feedback on the parts I've chosen. I'm planning to reuse her old PSU, a Corsair RM750x (which is only a year old), and her 1TB NVMe SSD. Here's the list if you want to check it out:
- GPU: Radeon RX 9070 XT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Cooling: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB
- MOBO: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- Storage: Crucial P5 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME
- Case: NZXT H6 Flow RGB
Thanks a ton for your help!

Hey, can I be your girlfriend for a day? Just kidding - but nice build!
If possible, consider upgrading to a Gen 4 x4 NVMe instead of sticking with the Gen 3 x4. The Gen 3 is decent, but you’ll definitely get faster speeds with Gen 4. Other than that, looks great!
You've got a really solid high-end build here! It’s balanced well in terms of pricing and performance. Just keep in mind that with games being more demanding, you'll burn through a terabyte of storage pretty fast these days. Maybe think about a 2TB Gen 4 drive since they’re about the same price as Gen 3 these days. The Gen 5 options are nice but can be a bit overpriced for what you get right now.
Solid build, but think about who will be using it. If she's not into gaming on high settings, this might be overkill. Just make sure you’re balancing looks and performance!
This is major boyfriend goals! Since it's for someone you love, consider adding some pretty RGB parts to make it even more special. Those Vengeance RGB light kits could really enhance the aesthetic. Also, those Lian Li stringer kits look amazing, though a bit pricey.
Awesome build! Looks like you’ve got everything covered here.
Yeah, totally agree! Function over form is key unless she's a hardcore gamer.
