I've been coding for about three years now, but I feel like I'm really slow when it comes to implementing features. It can take me up to two hours to complete a simple task, while it seems to take others only 30 minutes to an hour. I'm wondering if there are ways I can improve my efficiency. Should I focus on enhancing my skills with my editor, or is it worth it to try and improve my typing speed, which is currently around 50 words per minute? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Typing speed isn't really the main factor in how quickly you code. It's more about how well you understand problem-solving. So, focus on that and practice more coding challenges to get quicker at finding solutions.
Rushing through coding can lead to mistakes and bugs, which actually slows you down in the long run. It's better to take your time, ensure quality work, and your team will appreciate it more. If you're not failing deadlines, there’s no reason to push excessively.
Don't stress too much about how long things take. Each programmer has their own pace, and it's not very productive to compare your time to someone else's. Real improvement happens over months or years, not in hours. Just keep working on real projects and your speed will naturally pick up.
