Hey everyone! I'm really interested in how self-taught programmers manage to excel in coding and become great software engineers. What strategies work for them to improve their skills? Also, how can someone without a formal education find a job in such a competitive market?

One key to success is finishing projects. I started off by creating a small game that I released on Steam. That experience landed me a paid internship, which eventually led to a junior developer position. Now, I'm a mid-level full stack developer. So, building and completing projects really pays off!
What game did you make?
