I'm looking to replace my AMD RX 9070 XT with an NVIDIA graphics card. I'm quite frustrated with the AMD support lately, and while their drivers aren't the main issue, I'm eager for a change. What steps should I take before making this switch, and which NVIDIA card would be comparable? I'm considering either the 4070 Ti Super or the 5070.

Before you swap your cards, definitely use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to clear out the AMD drivers. That way, you can avoid any conflicts when you install the NVIDIA drivers. Out of the options you're looking at, the 4070 Ti Super is a solid choice since it outperforms the 5070 and comes with 16GB of VRAM.
What issues specifically are you facing with AMD support? Just curious!
The 5070 is actually less powerful than the 9070 XT, just so you know. But the process is simple: uninstall the AMD drivers, make the hardware swap, and then install the NVIDIA drivers. Using DDU isn't strictly necessary, but it's a good safety net if you want to make sure everything goes smoothly. You can always do it after the switch if you face any issues.

They seem to be lacking in feature support. Besides FSR 4 upscaling, I’ve found that game compatibility just isn’t reliable.
