Transitioning from Windows to Linux: Driver Help Needed

Hey everyone! I'm making the switch from Windows to Linux and just installed Zorin OS. I'm trying to download all my software and realize that ensuring my drivers are detected and updated is super important. I have a few specific questions:

1. How can I verify that my drivers are detected and up-to-date? I'm especially concerned about my Elgato 4k60 capture card since I enjoy streaming gameplay from my Nintendo Switch, and my Nvidia graphics card seems crucial too. I got a prompt about a 32-bit version of the Nvidia driver when I was downloading Steam—what do I do about that?

2. Is there anything vital to keep in mind or steps I should take when switching operating systems? So far, I've only installed Zorin and tinkered with the cursor customization.

For further context, here's my setup:
- OS: Zorin OS 18 Core
- Version: Linux 6.14.0-33-generic
- Hardware: AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Nvidia GA106 [GeForce RTX 3060 Lite Hash Rate], and a few other components.

Thank you for any help you can offer!

Drivers are typically managed through software updates on Zorin. For your Nvidia graphics card, you can check out this guide that Zorin has for ensuring the correct driver is installed: https://help.zorin.com/docs/hardware/activate-nvidia-drivers/. As for your Elgato capture card, I'm not as familiar with those, but I’d recommend looking into its specific Linux support!

Thanks for the Nvidia info! I'll dig into the capture card separately.
