Trouble Getting My New PC Build to Display Anything

I recently gathered parts to build a decent PC, but I'm stuck at the post stage. I've checked all my cables and compatibility, but nothing shows on the display. All the components are powered up, yet I can't get a signal from either the HDMI or DisplayPort on my GPU. I don't have integrated graphics or a flashback option available, so I'm hoping it's not a BIOS issue. Here are the details of my build:

- Motherboard: Asus Prime B550M-A WiFi
- GPU: Asus Dual GeForce RTX 5060
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 32GB
- Power Supply: ES-RGB 750W
- Storage: Samsung 870 EVO SSD

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It's likely that your BIOS isn't compatible with that CPU. The Ryzen 7 5800XT may not work with the initial BIOS version that came with the motherboard. Since there's no flashback option, you'll need a CPU compatible with the original BIOS to figure that out. If you have the motherboard box, check for a label with the model number and serial number, and compare it with the BIOS versions listed on the support site.

I found the sticker, and the last four digits are 3621. The BIOS versions on the support page don't seem to go beyond 3000, though.

This motherboard doesn't even have debug LEDs, which complicates things. Have you tried the standard stuff like clearing the CMOS or only connecting the essential components? You might not need the SSD to test it out. Also, did you check whether you're using one RAM stick and trying different slots? Those parts—are they all brand new? Just a heads up, your motherboard supports the 5800XT with BIOS version 2803 or later, so unless it's super old stock, it might not be a BIOS issue.

Yeah, I’ve done the basics but haven't cleared the CMOS yet. I’ll definitely give that a shot!

It might sound silly, but have you checked if your PSU switch is turned on? Sometimes that's the simplest fix!

I wish that was the issue, but the power supply seems to be all good.
