I'm in the process of switching out my motherboard, and now I'm not sure if I've connected everything correctly. When I try to power on my PC, my monitor, headphones, mouse, and keyboard don't turn on, and the fans on my GPU are also not spinning, even though they worked fine before. The case fans are running okay, but I'm currently testing without a compatible heat sink since I don't have one available. Is it possible that I messed up some cable connections?

Yeah, when you swap out a motherboard, there's a lot that can go wrong—like 30 different places to check! Not having a CPU cooler could definitely be the main problem here. If you don't have one at the moment, I'd recommend getting one before you try to boot again. Good luck!
It sounds like you might be missing a CPU cooler, which is crucial for the system to turn on properly. Without that, the CPU can overheat almost instantly. Also, are you using modular cables from a different power supply? That can lead to connection issues too. Double-check those connections!
