I bought Cyberpunk from GOG.com and tried to install it using Lutris, but it failed (I didn't note the errors at the time). Then, I attempted to use Mini Galaxy, where it told me a .bin file was corrupt. I'm currently using Mint 22.1 and looking for next troubleshooting steps to get it running. Update: I managed to install and run it using Heroic, but now I'm facing an issue where the view abruptly shifts to look straight up or down after turning 180 degrees. I suspect this might be related to Wine and my mouse settings.

You might want to stick with the Heroic Game Launcher. It works pretty seamlessly with GOG, letting you manage and install games without needing to mess with different binaries. It's made for situations just like yours!
Hey, I’m trying to run Linux temporarily on my HP laptop. Which option should I pick, **“Start Linux Mint”** or **“Start Linux Mint with Compatibility Mode”**, to keep my Windows safe?
Yeah, it's a bit tricky. Heroic can be finicky with some settings, but it should definitely work out if you tinker with it a bit. Stick with it; Heroic is usually the best choice for gaming on Linux!
About your issue with the view snapping straight up or down, that happened to me too once. It was because my mouse wasn’t focused on the game window. Every time I clicked, it would mess with the camera. Try tabbing out and back in or check if using gamescope helps—it might act differently!

Heroic Game Launcher, got it. I'll give that a shot. Thanks!
