Trouble Installing Microsoft Office?

Hey everyone, I tried to install Microsoft Office on a user's PC today but hit a roadblock with an error code 2250 0-2015 and couldn't get it done. This was my first time encountering this issue, and I went through all the troubleshooting guides I could find. Another teammate experienced the same problem while trying to install it for a completely different tenant. I've submitted a ticket to Microsoft, but they're currently not reporting any issues. Has anyone else faced problems installing Office recently?

There are some CDN issues going on, which likely means the installer can’t pull the necessary data. You can either wait for things to clear up or try using the offline installer instead. Here’s a link to the offline installer: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-the-office-offline-installer-f0a85fe7-118f-41cb-a791-d59cef96ad1c#officeplans=signinorgid

Oh man, this has been so frustrating! We’ve been trying to fix the Teams Add-in crashing issue, but can’t get the necessary updates due to this installer problem. Hopefully, it gets sorted soon!

Yes, I'm having the same problem! I even submitted a ticket to Microsoft and haven’t heard back yet. Seems like a widespread issue right now, something’s definitely up.

It was a nightmare for me too, wasted hours trying to troubleshoot! But it started working for me now, so maybe it’s clearing up. Hang in there!

Same here! I noticed the same issues across several tenants earlier today. The offline installer is your best bet if you need a quick fix. If you have the Office Deployment Tool files handy, you could also try running setup.exe with a local source path to avoid the CDN altogether.
