Trouble Logging In to AD Account with Specific Computer Restrictions

I'm having issues with an Active Directory account, specifically "admin-001". I've set it up to only allow logon from a specific workstation, "server-001", through the "Log On To" settings in the account properties. Additionally, I've added "admin-001" to both the administrators group and the remote desktop group on the server. Despite this, I'm receiving an error message when trying to log in via remote desktop: "The system administrator has limited the computers you can log on with. Try logging on at a different computer. If the problem continues, contact your system administrator or technical support." What should I check to resolve this? Thanks for any help!

Make sure that when you're connecting, the system can reach the domain controller to confirm the client's access permissions. If it can't contact the DC, that might cause the logon issue.

Have you checked your DNS settings? Sometimes, DNS issues can prevent successful logons if the system can't resolve the domain controller or workstation name.

From what I've read, when using the "Log On To" feature, you need to specify not just the target computer, but also the client that you’re connecting from. You might want to double-check those settings.
