I've got a MacBook Air and an iPhone 12, and I wanted to start reading on my old iPad again. It's updated to the latest version it can handle, but when I tried to log in with my Apple account, it keeps saying the ID or password is incorrect. I had previously removed the Apple password to avoid issues with iMessage while reading. Now that I'm using Apple's reader, I need to reconnect, but even after checking the password on both my MacBook and iPhone, it's still not working. I'm wondering if there's a setting that's restricting its iCloud access. The iPad is running iOS 9.3.5. Any help?

Check out this guide on using two-factor authentication on older devices. It might help you figure out how to enter a verification code even when your device doesn’t prompt you for it. When you're using an older device with Apple accounts that have two-factor authentication, you might need to enter the verification code along with your password. Have you tried that? Sometimes it can be tricky to get those codes on older iOS versions!
I have an iPhone, but I can't seem to get a verification code. I managed to sort out the password, but the iBooks app still seems untrusted, so my books aren't syncing.

I checked it out, but I still can’t get a verification code on my iPhone. Like I mentioned, I solved the password issue, but the iBooks app still isn't trusted, so no books are being synced.
