I'm having issues with a Windows Server 2022 system where the December 2025 patch seems to be installed but doesn't show an installation date. It's listed among the installed updates, yet the ACAS scans indicate that it's not present. I've tried removing and reinstalling the patch several times, ensuring to reboot in between. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and what steps did you take to resolve it?

It sounds like a 'staged' update issue where the files are there, but the registry entry is corrupted. Try running the command 'dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup' to clear out the component store and force the update to register properly.
Have you checked the logs for any errors? They might give you some insight into what's going wrong with the patch installation.
This might be due to metadata corruption in the update database. Just reinstalling the patch might not resolve the issue completely.
The key thing to check for the patch status on Windows is the OS build number. If it's 20348.4529, then that means the December 2025 patch is indeed installed, regardless of the installation date not showing up.
