Trouble with ESU Activation and Missing Security Updates

I've recently purchased an Extended Security Updates (ESU) product key valid for one year and successfully activated it. Despite this, I keep getting a message saying, "Your device is no longer receiving security updates." I've checked the activation status with several slmgr.vbs commands, and everything shows as successful, but I'm not receiving any security updates at all. For instance, I don't have the KB5068781 update available even after trying to install it manually, as it always rolls back. I've read that the OOB update KB5071959 should resolve this issue, but I can't find a way to download it since it's not available in Windows Update. I'm really at my wits' end here; any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had a similar problem with my Windows 10 Business edition. I tried a manual install, but it rolled back too. One workaround was to add the Win10CommercialW365ESUEligible registry key, which allowed the updates to show, but they still rolled back. I’m currently trying to see if removing my Business Premium license will help.

Have you tried clearing the Windows Update cache and recreating the Software Distribution folder? I've found that sometimes it helps in making updates visible. It worked for me when I was stuck trying to get updates to show up.

Just to confirm, did you activate your key after entering it? Sometimes people forget that step, and it could be a reason why updates aren't appearing.

Did anything happen when you clicked on 'Check for updates'? I just installed an ESU key recently, and even though I saw the same warning initially, clicking 'Check for updates' triggered the 2025-11 update to start downloading for me.
