Trouble with Laptop Sound: Drivers or OS Issue?

I recently got a new laptop, and although everything works fine after someone helped me install the operating system, I'm having trouble with the volume output. It seems like the laptop doesn't have the necessary drivers installed for the speakers, even though the product description mentions it has them. I'm using an HP 250 G10 with an i5 processor and running Windows 11. Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this sound issue?

Have you tried visiting HP's official support page? Use their autodetection tool to find the right drivers. It should list all available audio drivers for your model, and you can download and install them directly from there.

I did try that, but I encountered two options: **Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver** and **Realtek High Definition-Audiotreiber (HD)**. The first one failed to extract files when I tried to install it. I downloaded both, but nothing seems to change. Do I need to enable something in the system settings for the audio to work?
