I recently bought a Gigabyte 5070Ti Windforce OC SFF from Microcenter for $780 (after taxes, $840). When I run Furmark for stress testing, I experience screen flickering and occasional complete failure of the card, needing a restart. The FPS starts in the 290s but drops to the 270s after a few seconds of flickering. I've read mixed reviews about the reliability of Furmark and wonder if it's a bad test or if I might have a faulty GPU, especially since this is an open box item. I also ran Unigine Heaven Bench at extreme settings without issues (the card pulled 250W), but Furmark pushes it to 300W. Are there any other free tests I can run to check if my GPU is okay? Is Furmark a bad benchmark? I want to make sure I keep this card if it's functioning well since I got a good deal. By the way, I've tried different power settings in MSI Afterburner, but I still get flickering.

What kind of temperatures is the card hitting during these tests? Seems important to know if it’s running too hot or not.
Have you checked if you’re using a riser cable? Make sure your drivers are updated, too. You might also want to manually set the PCIe slot to version 4.0 and monitor the temperatures while running these tests.
I don't use a riser cable anymore because it caused issues. Drivers are the latest (576.52), and I think I set the BIOS to PCIe 4.0 for all options, but GPU-Z shows it as PCIe x16 5.0 @ x16 2.0. I’ll check BIOS settings again.
Make sure your PSU is providing enough power for the GPU. If it’s underpowered, it could lead to these issues.
Consider trying Steel Nomad from Steam for a different kind of test. It's free, and I've had good results with a similar setup, getting around 6800 FPS.

The temps seem fine, staying around 65-68 degrees during Furmark, but GPU-Z showed a max of 77 degrees. The PSU is rated highly, and the perfcap reason shows 'vrel' and power issues.
