Hey everyone! I'm super close to making the leap and buying my first custom PC, but I could really use some guidance on my planned build before I pull the trigger. Here's what I've got lined up:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard**: Asus TUF GAMING B650-E WIFI ATX AM5
- **RAM**: Kingston FURY Beast 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
- **Storage**: Western Digital WD_Black SN850X 4 TB NVME SSD
- **GPU**: PowerColor Hellhound Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24 GB
- **Case**: Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA ATX Mid Tower
- **PSU**: Silverstone DA1000R 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified PSU
- **Monitor**: KOORUI 27E3QK 27" 2560 x 1440 240 Hz
My budget is pretty tight at £2400 including the monitor, and since I'm still gathering knowledge, any tips, suggestions, or YouTube videos on PC building would be greatly appreciated!

With all these builds popping up, how do I decide which one is the best? Do I just take a gamble? 😂
The best build in this thread is definitely the one I posted!
I made some modifications to your build here: [Modified Build List](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fqzbDj). It might give you a better performance for your budget!
What will you mainly be using your PC for?
I'd advise going with this option instead: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/z2c39C. It suits your needs well!
You could probably save around £200 by making a few changes! Check this modified list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/YkBsgn
Do you really need 64GB of RAM? Also, I recommend the 9070 XT instead of the 7900 XTX. It's about £200 cheaper and only a bit slower, plus it handles ray tracing better! Here's a quick GPU chart: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html
Thanks for the tip! I just want to make sure I have enough for future-proofing, but I'm open to suggestions.
Exactly, the 9070 XT has some good features like FSR 4 and is more energy efficient. Unless you need a ton of VRAM for work, it might be a better choice.

Honestly, they're all solid builds. The performance differences are minimal. If I were you, I'd lean toward the 9070 XT build.
