Trouble with My Left AirPod: Seeking Solutions

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my left AirPod. It started off being really quiet this morning, and despite trying all the usual fixes I found online—cleaning it, reconnecting it, and even some unorthodox methods—I can't seem to stabilize it. Initially, the left one worked for a bit after I cleaned it, but then it disconnected randomly, often accompanied by a popping noise. Now, the green light on the case keeps flashing endlessly when I place the left AirPod inside, while the right one works fine. I've only had these since last fall, so I really don't want to replace them yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Wait, did you really try sucking on it? That’s bold! But seriously, it sounds like you really put in the effort. Let's see if we can find you a solution without breaking the bank. Maybe it's time to check in with Apple if it's still under warranty.

I know, I was super desperate! But yeah, I'm definitely thinking about contacting Apple at this point.

You might want to try cleaning the contacts in the case with a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol. If you see any green tint on the contacts, it could be corrosion from sweat. Also, hold the button on the back of the case until it flashes amber to reset it. Just keep in mind that if you’re using them for a few hours every day, the batteries tend to wear out after about two years.

Yeah, I really went all out trying to get it to work! Hoping it’s not time for a new pair yet.

If you're talking about owning them since September, you're still under warranty! You could take them to Apple or send them in for a replacement.
