Trouble with Nvidia RMA Support for My 5090FE

I recently ran into an issue with my 5090 Founders Edition graphics card, which has completely failed just four months after I bought it. After conducting some thorough tests, it's clear that the GPU is the reason my setup won't boot up. I reached out to Nvidia support for help, but I'm facing a major roadblock. The support rep insists that I take a photo showing a support log number next to the serial number on the device. From what I know, the 5090FE doesn't have a serial number visible on the card itself; it's only on the original packaging. I've mentioned this to the rep, but they keep insisting I'm supposed to find it on the card. Is Nvidia's support team unfamiliar with their own products, or is it just me losing my mind? If anyone has dealt with Nvidia support before, I'd love some advice on how to get my situation resolved.

I don’t own a 5090 FE, but it seems odd that there wouldn't be a serial number on the actual card. Maybe they just overlooked it during production?

Who knows what they were thinking? Even their support doesn’t seem to have a clue!

You might find it helpful to check out this [link](https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1l5u0fg/where_is_the_serial_number_located_on_rtx_50/). It provides info on where to look for serial numbers on Nvidia cards. Just keep in mind that opening the device might void your warranty, so be cautious about that.

Yeah, I saw that post too, but I'm trying to avoid opening it up myself just in case it has warranty implications.
