Hey everyone! I recently built my first PC, and I've run into some issues while trying to install an operating system. After struggling for about a week with Windows 11 (couldn't get it installed at all), I decided to go with Windows 10, which surprisingly installed without any problems. I got my drivers set up, and everything seemed fine until I was downloading a DODI repack and chatting on Discord. Suddenly, I hit a blue screen error related to memory management. After it rebooted, Windows loaded but was incredibly slow. I couldn't open anything, and it felt really off. When I powered it down and turned it back on, it went straight into the BIOS, which didn't recognize a boot drive, although it did detect my SSD. It was like Windows disappeared! I'm suspecting it might be an issue with the RAM since I set it to 3200MHz in the BIOS, but it was initially at 2400MHz. I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on this. Please ask anything that might help!

It sounds like your BIOS settings might need some tweaking. Also, make sure you have backups before you fiddle with any settings. When you get your system running again, check if your RAM is seated properly and try reverting it to stock speeds if you're experiencing issues. Also, ensure your SSD is properly connected, just in case there’s a hardware issue. Sometimes physical connections can be loose after a build.
Yeah, I’ll check that. Thanks for the tip!

That’s a solid point! Always good to double-check connections, especially after a new build.
