I'm having an issue with our WSUS servers that are set up in a physically isolated network. We have servers in both our external and internal networks, and updates have been transferred using a combination of copying files and the `wsusutil export/import` commands. This process has worked flawlessly until recently when the WSUS overview page started displaying unexpected download status. Instead of showing zero requiring files, it's now showing that there are 1765 updates needing files with a total size of over 154 GB. Even after running `wsusutil.exe reset` multiple times, the issue hasn't been fixed after two weeks. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I remember seeing a similar problem discussed recently, and it may have been related to language settings. You can check the update download status using the `bitsadmin /list /allusers` command to see what’s being downloaded from Microsoft. Additionally, try adding a column in the update view that shows individual download statuses. This can help you identify any particular updates causing issues.
It sounds like you've been handling updates pretty well in your isolated setup, but this issue is definitely concerning. Have you considered that the updates might be encrypted during transfer? That could interfere with your usual process. Since WSUS is nearing end of life, it might be tricky to find support for this. A possible workaround could be to use a USB network adapter temporarily to sync updates, but I understand if that's not feasible due to your security policies.
